What existing PovBuds owners say.
Figured anything on your ear would move the second I picked up the pace on a descent. Full century ride and they never budged. Forgot they were on.
Figured helmet-height video would be jittery over rough tarmac. It's smoother than my phone footage.
Sound is better than I expected and the video is sharp. Battery got me through a full day of riding with plenty left.
Bought these mainly for the camera and honestly the audio for calls and music surprised me the most. Clear even with wind noise on a fast descent.
Got caught in a proper downpour on a group ride and kept filming the whole time. Battery was still at a third by the time we got back. IP56 rating isn't just marketing.
The earbuds themselves are excellent — comfortable, good footage, battery lasts. The companion app for pulling clips off can be a little slow to sync. Still recommend them.
Before you buy.
What's in the box? +
The PovBuds Pro, a USB-C charging cable and a quick start guide. The Guard™ hard case is an add-on above.
How do I wear them for basketball? +
Place the hooks around your ears with the connected band behind your head. Position the camera-side unit beside your ear and check the fit before practice. Your hands stay free to dribble, pass and shoot.
Can I wear them during any game? +
Check the rules for your venue, league or event before wearing recording equipment. Start with practice, check the fit and remove them whenever your coach or officials require it.
Can I still hear teammates and the court? +
The open-ear design leaves your ear canals open, so you can hear teammates and the court while recording. Keep playback volume low enough to hear what is happening around you.
Is the footage actually watchable? +
Capture 8MP Full HD with a 120° wide field of view. Electronic image stabilisation helps smooth camera movement as you play.
Will they survive rain and sweat? +
They are rated IP56 for water and sweat resistance. They are not designed to be submerged.
How do I get the videos off? +
Connect through the app and download straight to your phone, or transfer over USB-C to any device.
When will my order arrive? +
Typically 7–21 business days, fully tracked. You'll get a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
